Herb Holland

Founder / Chief Technology Officer

For more than 30 years Herb has conceived, developed and patented a variety of water treatment and fluid conditioning systems, including the novel concepts embodied in WILSA© fluid conditioning. To date, he has been issued twenty-two (22) United States Patents and one (1) International Patent (Mexico) relating to electromagnetic, electrostatic and fluid conditioning technologies; as well as 18 U.S. Patents for polymer-based oil spill remediation / filtration technologies. Prior to focusing on the development of the Company's WILSA© technologies, Herb developed water reclamation systems that collected and processed contaminated bilge water to levels allowing for its permitted release into waterways adjacent to dockside water reclamation facilities; developed and fabricated a system for removing fish oil and blood from water in Norwegian fish processing facilities and provided sales and operational support for a company providing dewatering services for refinery-generated waste streams. Herb began his career in the Engineering and Operations departments of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company and later joined the Stars and Stripes syndicate that won the America's Cup in Freemantle, Australia. Following the successful America's Cup campaign in 1987, he established a marine electronics company specializing in design and installation of tactical / navigational systems for Grand Prix racing yachts that competed around the world.
